What it is

Just Castor Oil. Nothing else.

Castor Oil has been part of traditional hair-care rituals for generations. Known for its naturally thick texture and rich composition, it has long been used as a scalp oil in routines focused on root care, hair strength and overall hair maintenance.
Made from castor seeds and prepared using traditional methods, Castor Oil naturally contains ricinoleic acid and fatty acids that have made it a familiar ingredient in oiling rituals across Indian homes. Unlike lighter oils that absorb quickly, castor oil is often chosen when a richer and longer-lasting application is preferred.
Its strongest association is with hair care. Castor Oil is commonly used in scalp massages, root-care routines and hair-strengthening preparations. It is often applied before washing and left on the scalp for extended periods, allowing it to become part of a slower and more intentional ritual.
Beyond hair care, Castor Oil is also used in body-care routines for dry skin and moisture retention. Its rich texture makes it particularly suited to areas that benefit from additional nourishment and protection.
What we carry is single-ingredient castor oil — traditionally prepared and bottled without additives, fragrance or fillers. Just castor oil, the way it has always been used.

Ritual Context
Castor oil was rarely used for quick results. Thick, slow and deeply rooted in traditional routines, it was often massaged into the scalp and left for hours before washing. Its place was not in convenience, but in consistency.
