Hibiscus Powder
WHAT NATURALLY IT CONTAINS
Naturally occurring plant compounds, antioxidants and organic acids.Traditionally used to nourish hair, support scalp care and enrich hair-care rituals.
What it is
Just Hibiscus. Nothing else.
Hibiscus has been part of traditional hair-care and skincare rituals for generations. Made from dried hibiscus flowers, the powder naturally contains plant compounds, antioxidants and organic acids that have made it a familiar ingredient in nourishing hair packs and face packs across Indian homes.
Among traditional hair-care ingredients, hibiscus is valued for the richness it brings to a preparation. It is commonly used in hair packs and scalp-care rituals, often alongside ingredients such as Amla and Bhringraj. While cleansing ingredients formed the foundation of a wash, hibiscus was frequently chosen when nourishment and softness were desired as part of the routine.
The flower has long been associated with hair rituals that focus on maintaining healthy-looking hair and scalp. Mixed into simple pastes with water or combined with other familiar ingredients, hibiscus became a regular part of weekly hair-care preparations in many households.
Beyond hair care, hibiscus also found a place in skincare. Mixed into face packs, it was traditionally used as part of simple self-care routines that relied on familiar kitchen and garden ingredients rather than manufactured products.
What we carry is single-ingredient hibiscus flower powder — dried and powdered. No additives. No fragrance. No fillers. Just hibiscus, the way it has always been used.
Ritual Context
Hibiscus was often made into nourishing hair packs, either on its own or alongside other familiar ingredients. In many homes, it became part of regular hair-care rituals, particularly when additional nourishment and softness were desired. The same flower was also mixed into simple face packs, making it one of the ingredients that moved naturally between hair care and skincare.
